Art By Lerri - Awards & Associations

Lerri is a visual artist, specialzing in acrylics, watercolor, and pastel representations of the natural world.


Currently, I am an active member of The Artist’s Studio and am their bookkeeper. TAS is a co-op of local artist (south Los Angeles county) and is associated with the Palos Verdes Art Center. We have two galleries where we sell our work and a website (www.artists-studio-pvac.com), I show my work at our gallery in the Art Center. It is a wonderful group of people and we have a newly remodeled store, so if you are in the area please stop by. Through the Artist’s Studio, I have displayed my work in local theaters, stores, offices and during their monthly summer lawn show (third weekend of the month April – Oct) where I also give demos on drawing, pastel and watercolor.

I also belong to the local artist’s association: Torrance Artist’s Group. I have entered their monthly competitions and have won several awards in competition with local artists, I have also entered the TAG fall, open juried show where my work has all been accepted, and in 2004, I won Best in Animals award for the pastel version of “Preening Crane”.

Before I became so involved with my art, I was a long time member of the South Bay Camera Club where I am a past president and Board member. I have won several awards and honors within the Club itself in my skill group; also I’ve won awards in the regional club SBCC is associated with and a National PSA award in an open juried competition.
